Visitor centre solutions

In 2015 Holkham Hall approached us to provide a temporary solution for their visitor cafe, admission area and retail shop, whilst renovations were completed on their existing visitor centre.

We supplied a structure from our premium range utilising our clear span glazed wall panels for the café, the glazing allowed the visitors the opportunity to appreciate the impressive Holkham Hall in all weathers. The interior of the Cafe was brought to life with beautiful chandeliers and specially sourced furniture and display units. Wood effect vinyl flooring was installed, and power points were kept tidy by using hideaway sockets in the floor.

A member of the Treasure Houses group which consists of ten of the most magnificent palaces, houses and castles in England, Holkham is a fine Palladian house, surrounded by a deer park, lake, temple and woodland.

Our solutions

Solid white ABS wall panels were fitted to the rest of the café area to provide stability, warmth and an immaculate appearance. To keep staff and visitors comfortable, over door heating and free-standing heating units were positioned within the structures to give a comfortable temperature without spoiling the aesthetics.

A bespoke lean-to structure was made to measure to provide an outside sheltered area with additional seating for the café.
