Construction Site Marquees
Fews are able to provide temporary marquee structures to support contractors working on building projects across the UK. Our marquees can be up to 25m wide with up to 8m eave height, and feature hard walls, insulated walls, a variety of doors, air conditioning and lighting.
Each marquee is individually designed to make sure it is suited to its purpose, and can be hired for short or long term use. We provide ready to use, turnkey solutions which can be built in any size as required and can include showers, hand basins and toilets. Our temporary building are fit for purpose and suitable for use through the winter months.
Through the use of flat wall panels without linings, all surfaces are easy to clean to comply with strict Covid-19 guidelines. We can offer a variety of floor coverings such as industrial grade carpets and non-slip vinyl flooring. Our well trained teams can provide a very fast turnaround from initial request through to final build, and we offer advice and support through the whole process.
Marquees for Workshops
We can build marquees for workshops on any surface, with a variety of wall, ceiling, heating and lighting options depending on usage. If extra lighting is needed, then large windows can be installed, or if large door openings are needed for ventilation we can provide personal heaters. There are a variety of door options available including roller shutters and sliding doors of various heights and widths.
Marquees for Site Canteens
Our marquees are ideal to offer expanded construction site canteen areas that may be required under social distancing rules. We can do a full fit out including catering equipment, furniture, refrigeration, temperature control, lighting and electricity. Everything can be secured using lockable doors, windows and alarm systems if needed.
Marquees for Temporary Storage
Fews offer a large range of structures for storage. Insulated or non-insulated temporary buildings with eave heights up to 8m can be installed at short notice on hard standing surfaces such as concrete and tarmac. Where moisture-sensitive goods are being stored we can install inflatable pillow roofs to eliminate condensation.
Marquees for Temporary Site Offices
If additional temporary office space is required to enable sufficient social distancing we can provide a fully temperature controlled environment with lighting, carpeting, furniture, electricity and water. All this can be secured using lockable doors, windows and alarm systems if needed. Marquees and Tents for Work Cover
Basic work cover can be provided for shelter against inclement weather, with or without walls depending on requirement. Fews have developed some social distancing solutions for the construction sector. The extra space required to do this safely can be provided by temporary marquee structures designed for the purpose.
Temporary Welfare Units
Fews offer three levels of on-site welfare units for the construction industry to cover all requirements. These structures are available in almost any size, so are much more flexible than traditional welfare units, allowing for greater social distancing and can be partitioned to allow for office space and other areas. Also each structure can be moved or extended to accommodate the workforce. We offer fast installation and hire / buy options.
Soft sided marquee / tent welfare units
A basic solution for welfare, this includes board flooring and can be heated.
Hard sided marquee welfare units
A hard sided marquee with deck-level flooring offers better options for heating and insulation, plus non-slip vinyl flooring.
Bespoke welfare units
Here we can offer a temporary building style solution with insulated walls, thermo roof to eliminate condensation, non-slip vinyl flooring, overhead heating and other features to suit requirement.
In each case we can provide toilets, full catering facilities, showers and drying rooms.
