The COVID-19 Pandemic put immense pressure on the NHS, and Fews developed our marquees and structures for use as extensions and stand-alone Medical Centres. Ideal for providing essential social distancing areas, we can offer marquees from 3m to 25m wide and almost any length giving space for waiting rooms, observation areas, vaccination and treatment areas. We can also provide access ramps to entrances and exits.

Energy Efficiency & Sustainability

We offer very energy efficient structures through optional insulated walls and roofs and ensuring minimum possible heat escape through effective sealing.

Fews has invested significantly in sustainable energy sources, equipment, processes and vehicles over a long period of time including deriving our heat and power from biomass and solar energy.

This approach extends to our structures which we maintain before and after use to increase product longevity, as well as offering energy efficient insulation and heating options.

Fast Installation

Fews offer a very fast installation service where required. Our temporary buildings can be installed on hard standing concrete, tarmac, gravel or grass, and it is possible for them to be either free-standing or connected to existing buildings. The quality of our structures mean they can be in place for three months or even 20 years. We are able to build in very confined spaces if the choice of location is limited.

The ability to deliver materials outside of regular hours is essential to minimise disruptions to the ongoing educational activities and ensure the safety of the public and staff alike. This requires coordination and planning to ensure a seamless construction process.

Health and Safety
