Temporary Workshop Building for Film Studio
Fews Film production support
One of the largest Film studios in London offering 139,000 sq ft of stage, workshop, and production office space decided to increase their capacity with a second site.
They commissioned Fews Film Production Support to build two structures for their new latest project. The requirement was for workshops to be built right next to the new studios.
One 20m x 32.5 metre structure with 4m eave height, and one 25m x 30m structure with 5m eave height were constructed quickly to provide workshop areas for the newly acquired studio space. Both temporary buildings were fitted with insulated thermo roofs to eliminate condensation and 40mm sandwich panel walls to provide insulation. Four and five metre electric roller shutter doors and single steel personnel doors provided security alongside the hard walls, and steel gutters and downpipes gave the necessary drainage.
